Visiting the Sequim Lavender Festival and Farms! in 2025
Each year, Sequim on the Olympic Peninsula offers its Sequim Lavender Festival and in 2025, it is the weekend of July 18th-20th! The festival in the “Lavender Capital of North America” has three days of live music, hundreds of vendors at the Park, a food court, beer garden, farm tours, cut your own lavender, demonstrations at the farms and many lavender products for sale, made by the local farms!
This is definitely an exciting time to visit Sequim and the farms, but if you are looking for fewer crowds and you still want the opportunity to visit some amazing lavender farms, know that most farms are open even when the festival is not going on! A big bonus is that most of the farms are free to visit!!!
There are over a dozen farms in the area and I will cover just a few of them!

Kitty B’s Lavender Farm is open this year from June 5th – August 4th and closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. This glorious farm whose catch phrase is, “Where Time Stops for a Moment”, sits on 2.5 acres and has 2,000 lavender plants! Stroll through the gardens and bring a picnic to stop and soak it all in! The gazebo stands out and is available for weddings and events! Kitty B’s continues to hand harvest all their flowers! Be sure to check out their shop for amazing oils, massage oils, soaps, body butters, crafts and more!

Victor’s Lavender Farm is open Memorial Day through August! What blew me away was the drying barn! You are surrounded by hanging cut lavender and the smells are amazing! You are invited to walk through the fields which include a U-cut field, their greenhouses and the farm store!

Victor’s also hosts their own festival during the main Sequim festival that includes free workshops, expert help with your gardens, live jazz music and even a couple barn dances! Be sure to read Victor and Maribel’s fascinating story on their website, check out their blog and then go visit them!

The Lavender Connection’s 5½-acre farm boasts more than 3,000 lavender plants of over 50 different varieties and is open May 23rd-September 1st. One of the many things that stand out about this farm is its support of service members! With your military ID, the owners offer a free bundle of lavender to active or inactive, a military family member or even a veteran!!! For those deployed, the service member can send their spouse or partner to the farm to pick up a bundle from them, as a gift from the farm! All the tears!!!
Another unique thing about the Lavender Connections is their copper still! You can learn about the essential oil extraction process, and sample from more than 20 varieties of lavender essential oil at their Essential Oil Bar! In the past, during the festival, you could make your own! Be sure to check out their farm store, try their famous shortbread cookies and take home some lavender from the U-cut gardens!
The Jardin du Soleil is certified organic and it has many photo opportunities on their 10 acres including Victorian gardens, ponds, fruit trees and of course, lavender fields! The scents as you walk around the farm, the buzz of the bees and the farm animals add to the farm’s charm! They have different offers that include special sunset picnic dinners and a couple of Brunches in the Blooms!

This farm is open April through December and unique to them is that they offer two campsites at the farm to allow you to enjoy not just your day, but your evening and night too! Be sure to check out their shop for their large offerings of everything lavender and their own honey!!!

Sequim Lavender Farms
Linked here is a list of all the lavender farms in Sequim including their hours and locations! With a little planning, you can visit many of the farms in one day, but why not take two and spend the night in Sequim! For luxury, George Washington Inn. For camping and cabins, I recommend John Wayne’s Waterfront Resort! Plus, there are some amazing restaurants to try! For great fresh Italian, I recommend Tedescos!
Oh! Most of the farms are pet friendly if they are on a leash! It’s time for a road trip!
