About Explore Washington State
Explore Washington State exists to answer one question: "What is it like to live in (insert community name here)?"
In pursuit of answering that question, Explore Washington State is designed as a platform that makes it fun and easy to learn more about specific areas of the state. That sometimes takes role of blog posts, videos, community involvement and feedback, informative pages about employment or schools in the area or photos of the region.
All of these are provided with the goal of giving you a sense of what makes each location special and unique, as well as providing insight into the common threads that run through all Washington State communities.
We realize that others may use this information for different purposes, like planning a weekend trip to the area. That's great! The information that we provide is free and we hope that it benefits all who come to this site.
Explore Washington State is provided by T212 Media and is partnered with Evergreen State Homes. If you are looking for a new home in Washington State, or know someone who is, we encourage you to use Evergreen State Homes to find your new home. They provide listings of the entire Northwest MLS (about 80% of Washington State) and the listings are updated every 15 minutes. Click here to start looking for houses.

A lifelong resident of Washington who grew up in Tacoma, and spent his six freshman years attending CWU in Ellensburg, Scott’s professional life was spent in Olympia, Seattle and Tacoma.
Deciding that the traffic on the west side was too much, Scott moved with his family to Wenatchee where they are settling in and finding that there is life after the daily commute.
With a passion for good caffeine, hard ciders, and pizza along with the scenic beauty of Washington State you will find Scott out and about in Washington State looking for that next magical cup of coffee.

A family man with a soft spot for fly-fishing and playing guitar (though not at the same time!), Jonathan drives all content creation and project management for T212Media.
Although some of his best work happens when sitting behind a computer or camera, Jonathan loves getting outdoors as much as possible.
Whether it’s rappelling 150ft into a limestone sinkhole (long story) or fending off bears in a secluded mountain cabin (longer story), outdoor activities have always been a part of his life.
He currently lives in the charming city of Browns Point in the south Puget Sound area. His professional passion is to use his marketing and business development expertise to help small businesses grow and meet their full potential.
MacKenzie Passegger is the face behind our various social media accounts, and also routinely writes articles on our blogs (that you’re hopefully enjoying). She's a Washington state native who found herself settling in Austria after bouncing around Europe.
When her toddler isn’t keeping her on her toes, she enjoys cooking, craft beer & traveling back home. Being away from Washington allows her to have a different perspective and has deepened her love for the Evergreen State.
