Want a Mad Max Car? How about a Hot Rod or Movie Car? Bring Your Imagination!
Dee Vyper of Mad Max Cars is our guest for this episode.
Mad Max Cars creates custom vehicles to exceed their customers’ expectations. Are you a Mad Max Fanatic? Perfect, the team at Mad Max Cars can build a replica of the Interceptor complete with the right hand drive. Perhaps your tastes run towards Greased Lightning or a General Lee replica? No matter your desires (but depending on your budget) the team at Mad Max can help you.
When Dee watched Mad Max for the first time his world changed. He just had to know what that car was! Turns out the Pursuit Interceptor is a 1973 Ford XB Falcon GT. Years later Dee was able to purchase a Falcon XA which he had converted into a Red XA Bat replica. After purchasing the XB Dee kept hanging around the shop. Later Dee became a partner in the company.
Mad Max Cars started out by importing Australian muscle cars into the US. Eventually the company began to create movie cars. They have recreated many famous movie cars. Greased Lightning, Kitt, The Ectomobile, and a DeLorean Time Machine just to name a few.
Dee shares stories about cars, movies, music and more during our chat.
If you’re a Mad Max fan you’re going to love this episode. If you’re a car fan, this episode is for you.
