Federal Way Performing Arts and Event Center

Federal Way residents are excited to welcome the addition of the Federal Way Performing Arts & Event Center to the newly remodeled downtown district as of August 19th, 2017.

From Seattle to Tacoma, those who are interested in the arts eagerly anticipate the growth of the Center into a venue that attracts renowned performers, making the Center a welcome addition to the region.

Event Center Overview

This state of the art facility expects to be the premier venue for the performing arts in the greater South King County area.  The PAEC broke ground in 2015 and has recently opened to public events. The building is approximately 45,000 square feet in size and will be able to accommodate over 700 in the two-tiered theater. With floor-to-ceiling windows that look out over Mt. Rainier and a large outdoor plaza the center will be a local and regional hub for arts and events in Federal Way for a long time.

With the center being located so close to SeaTac Airport, the center anticipates a steady stream of reservations to use the facility for business meetings, conferences, trade shows and training’s. There are two 1600 sq foot meeting rooms and a lobby that can combine with the meeting rooms to allow events with 400+ attendees.  Featuring the latest in A/V systems for both performances and presentations along with onsite concessions and full service catering we expect that the PAEC will indeed be a popular destination for years to come.

Federal Way Symphony

The PAEC will also be the home for the Federal Way Symphony.  The 2021-22 symphony season begins October 10, 2021 and runs until April 24, 2022. The full symphony calendar can be found by following this link. If you are a fan of Symphonic music you should consider purchasing your season tickets now.

Additionally, the Federal Way Performing Arts & Events Center will have as resident artists the Federal Way Chorale, Jet Cities Chorus, Tacoma City Ballet, and the Harmony Kings.

Throughout the upcoming months there will be more events added.
