Christmas Lights in Vancouver, WA: 2026 Displays, Dates and Cocoa Stops

Last verified: October 28, 2026. Every date below was checked against the organizer or a current listing, and anything not yet posted for 2026 says so. We recheck through December.

Clark County doesn’t have a big ticketed light park. What it has is better spread out: the Christmas Ships on the Columbia, two blocks of Franklin Street where 14 homes light 300,000 bulbs, a snowfall machine in downtown Camas, and a city run map of Battle Ground’s best decorated homes. Most of it is free.

The trouble is that the pages that come up first mix in Vancouver, British Columbia, lead with Portland, or still carry last year’s dates. This one is the Washington side, 2026 edition: where the lights are, when, what it costs, and where to get something hot afterward. Dates marked 2026 come from the organizer. Where an organizer hasn’t posted yet, we give last year’s schedule and say so, and we’ll update this page as dates land.

The short version

  • The opening night: the Vancouver Community Tree Lighting, Friday, Nov 27, 2026, when the Christmas Ships escort Santa’s tugboat to the waterfront.
  • The Christmas Ships from the Washington shore: nine nights between Dec 3 and Dec 18, 2026, all free.
  • The neighborhood show: Christmas on Franklin, 4616 NW Franklin St, lights and music nightly Nov 28 to Dec 30, 5 to 10 p.m.
  • Small town nights: Washougal Dec 3, Camas and Battle Ground Dec 4, Ridgefield Dec 5.
  • A real light walk: Skamania Lodge in Stevenson, about 45 minutes east, free and nightly from Nov 27.

Vancouver

Vancouver Community Tree Lighting

The Rotary Club of Vancouver’s tree lighting is Friday, Nov 27, 2026, per the Christmas Ships schedule and Visit Vancouver USA. Santa arrives at the waterfront by tugboat with the Christmas Ships as escort, a lighted vehicle parade carries him to Esther Short Park, and the tree is lit. Esther Short Park activities start at 3 p.m., and the Vancouver Holiday Market opens inside the Hilton on 6th Street. Santa and Mrs. Claus land at the waterfront by the AC Marriott at 5:45, the light parade leaves at 6, and the tree is lit at 6:30. There are carriage rides on 6th Street, and ASL interpretation on the main stage. It’s free; some city lots near the park ask a $5 parking donation.

Christmas on Franklin

On two blocks of NW Franklin Street, 14 homes put up 300,000 lights with music. It runs nightly Nov 28 to Dec 30, 5 to 10 p.m. The main house is at 4616 NW Franklin St, an address the owners publish themselves. There are snowfall nights and Santa visits on December weekends. It’s free, with a donation bin on the fence, and the display has run a food drive for FISH of Vancouver.

Park on the neighborhood streets or in the school lot on Franklin after school hours. If you’re driving by, pull over to look rather than stopping in the street.

  • Uptown Village Tree Lighting: at Main St Church, 1812 Main St, with a “Biker Santa” and the Northwest Harmony Chorus. The 2026 date isn’t posted.
  • Christmas lights on 96th Street: an east Vancouver home show synced to music on 89.7 FM, promoted by its owners on Facebook.

Where to watch: Rotary Way west of I-5; for Dec 5, the Port of Camas Washougal at 24 S A St, Washougal Waterfront Park or Steamboat Landing Park. If you’d rather be warm, The Cove, Hotel Indigo on the waterfront and McMenamins on the Columbia are viewing spots the organizer names.

Weather, debris and river traffic can change the schedule. One 2025 night was canceled for debris, so check the Christmas Ships site the afternoon you go.
