Brittany Jean: Folk Americana Singer Songwriter With a Golden Voice.
Brittany Walker or as she is known as performer Brittany Jean is our guest for this episode.
We recorded this episode sitting outside at SweetRiver Bakery in Pateros Washington under a metal roof while it was raining. We call that ambiance.
Brittany grew up in a home where music and the arts were encouraged. She found that she loved songwriting by taking a songwriting class in high school. Since her early efforts she has gone on to record and release 5 albums. She considers her music Folk Americana.
We are able to listen as Brittany performs two of her songs. Golden Hour and Your Time on The Road.
During her career Brittany has played at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville and has opened for Three Dog Night in New York City. When Brittany had the opportunity to open for Three Dog Night she didn’t know who they were. (ah kids)
Brittany was a wonderful person to share a rainy afternoon with while chatting about music, Washington, traveling, and more.
You can find out more about Brittany by visiting her website. Make sure you watch her videos on her site.
