Course Overview

Interbay opened in 1997 as a nine hole, par 28 executive course, and the course says it has long been home to beginners and experts alike. It sits along 15th Avenue West beside the center’s driving range, and the scorecard even grants relief from the driving range for your stance and swing on holes 8 and 9.

The holes are short but not soft. The 1st is the only par 4, and the par 3s run from 95 yards to 186 yards, so you will use most of the bag. The scorecard marks the left side of holes 5 through 8 as red penalty areas, and the expected pace for nine holes is 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Hole by Hole Highlights

Yardages are from the Back tees and handicaps from the course scorecard.

  • Hole 1, 288 yards, par 4: The only par 4 on the course and the number 2 handicap, a chance for one full drive.
  • Hole 2, 153 yards, par 3: A mid iron to settle in.
  • Hole 3, 95 yards, par 3: The shortest hole on the course and the number 9 handicap, a wedge and a birdie look.
  • Hole 5, 130 yards, par 3: The number 4 handicap, with the red penalty area along the left side.
  • Hole 6, 186 yards, par 3: The longest par 3 and the number 1 handicap, with the penalty area again on the left.
  • Hole 7, 164 yards, par 3: The number 3 handicap, another long par 3 with the penalty area on the left.
  • Hole 9, 130 yards, par 3: The closer, played next to the driving range, where the card gives you relief if the range interferes with your stance or swing.

Amenities and Practice

The range is the heart of Interbay: 80 covered stalls, 40 of them heated for year round comfort, and Toptracer on all 80 for virtual courses, games and shot tracking. Buckets run $6 for 30 balls, $11 for 60, $16 for 100 and $19 for 150, and Toptracer is $10 for 30 minutes or $15 an hour, with bucket combos from $15. Range value cards add bonus value, up to $400 for $300.

Private lessons are $70 for a half hour or $130 for an hour for adults, with series and semi private pricing, and Interbay’s teaching pros back their lessons with a money back guarantee. The putting course is $12.50 for adults and $8.50 for juniors. The Interbay Golf Club runs a men’s league on Tuesdays and a women’s league on Wednesdays from March, with 2026 memberships at $75 and $45. Youth on Course members play for $5 every day after 3 PM.

Food and Drink

The Interbay cafe is open 10 AM to 8 PM on weekdays and 9 AM to 8 PM on weekends. Weekday happy hour, 3 to 6 PM, pairs a pitcher of beer with a large bucket of range balls for $29 to $33, and weekday lunch specials from 11 AM to 4 PM bundle a small bucket with a deli sandwich or cheeseburger from $20.

How to Score Here

  • Use the range first. Ten minutes in a heated stall is the best warm up you will find for a nine hole round.
  • Favor the right on 5 through 8. The scorecard marks the left side of each as a penalty area.
  • Take your birdie on 3. At 95 yards it is the shortest hole on the course.
  • Play for the middle of the green on 6, the longest par 3 and the hardest hole on the card.

Final Word

Interbay is Seattle golf in a hurry: nine short holes that still ask for real shots, a range that is open late and a cafe that pairs beer with a bucket of balls.
