This is where Woods came to Bellingham after its first Lynden stores, and it is the plainest of the six in town on purpose: a drive up window with room for a truck and trailer, an inside door from the King Street Shell next to it, and a 5 AM weekday open for the early commute off I-5. What you get is the same as at the fireplace stores, coffee roasted by Woods itself and pastries from the company's own scratch bakery, without the wait. Woods has been a Herman family business since 2002, started from a homeschool business plan in Lynden, and is still family run at about two dozen stores across four counties.
