Hammerhead has roasted in Bellingham since 2007, and this Holly Street cafe is where you drink the results rather than buy the bag. They buy exclusively Fair Trade and organic certified green coffee and say they favor small grower cooperatives, which is a narrower sourcing rule than most roasters this size hold to. The kitchen runs breakfast and lunch all day, seven days a week, and the biscuit sandwiches are the house specialty, including a vegan one. There is a patio. Everything closes at 3pm, kitchen and counter together.
