Espresso in the morning, sixteen taps of beer and wine by late afternoon, in a downtown room covered in graffiti murals. Kaycee Rezvani and Jessica Henderson took the keys on January 1, 2020 and opened in March, which was the worst possible timing.
About
Two women who met working a drive up espresso stand took the keys to this Holly Street space on January 1, 2020 and opened in early March, weeks before everything shut. Locus survived it and added a second location in Barkley Village in October 2024. The room is the draw, with graffiti murals in teal, orange and gray, Edison bulbs strung over the bar, window booths at the front, armchairs at the back and a flower lined patio outside. Coffee is Tony's Espresso Noir, roasted in Bellingham since 1971. By evening it is sixteen taps and a real kitchen.
