Georgetown, Seattle, Washington
A Georgetown crepe and brunch cafe on 13th Avenue South, under the flight path into King County International Airport, pouring house coffee roasted by Fidalgo with refills. Savory and sweet crepes, Belgian waffles and a mimosa list, 8am to 2pm daily.
The Hangar earns its name: Seattle Refined reported in 2023 that it sits under the flight path into King County International Airport, about a mile away, so planes on approach come with brunch. The cafe first opened in 2011, the same piece said, and changed hands at the start of the pandemic, when its current owner came over after seven years at Lost Lake Cafe.
This is a crepe cafe that serves coffee, not a coffee bar that serves crepes. The 2026 menu lists one coffee, the house coffee with refills at $5, roasted by Fidalgo, alongside loose leaf teas, juices and a tropical iced tea, and it lists no espresso drinks, so ask at the counter before counting on a latte.
Savory crepes run from the Market, with applewood smoked bacon, mozzarella and caramelized onion under a house poblano vinaigrette, to a Monte Cristo with turkey, ham, Swiss and raspberry jam, and the namesake Hangar crepe stacks Black Forest ham, scrambled eggs, Swiss and cheddar. Sweet crepes include Apple Brie and Strawberry Cheesecake, and the waffle list ends at the Triple B, bacon and brie layered into a Belgian waffle. Mimosas come by the glass, as a four flavor sampler or by the pitcher, and Seattle Refined described an outdoor patio and a back garden at its best in summer.
Hours are 8am to 2pm every day, per the cafe's own site, with no reservations. The site warns that summer weekend peak runs 11am to 1pm with food waits of up to an hour, so come early or come on a weekday. Parties of six or more pay a 20 percent automatic gratuity, and the menu limits each check to two cards.
