Most breweries settle for a warehouse and a tasting room. Narrows Brewing found a spot on the water. Out on Tacoma's West End, its taproom looks across Puget Sound to the twin spans of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge, and on a clear evening the view does half the work.
The beer holds up its end. This is a working craft brewery pouring a rotating lineup for the people who make the waterfront their regular stop, whether that is after a walk at nearby Titlow or a slow afternoon watching the boats. Pull up outside, order a pint, and let the sound set the pace.
