Greektown

Greektown is a truck, and it lives at Kulshan Brewing's Sunnyland taproom on James Street. There is no dining room of its own. You order at the window and sit in the brewery, Thursday through Sunday, noon until eight.

Every gyro comes with the fries inside the pita, which is how it is done on the street in Greece and is the detail most places here leave out. The lamb leg is slow cooked for ten hours and anchors the menu. There is also pork belly, loukaniko sausage, chicken thigh, and a vegetarian version built on dolmades and fresh basil.

Beyond the gyros are dolmades by the half dozen, Greek fries under feta with tzatziki on the side, loaded fries, bowls, and baklava. Cascadia Daily News called it the only Greek food truck in town and, from a reviewer who grew up eating this food, some of the best Greek cooking in the region, truck or otherwise.
