Everything Tea

Everything Tea has been on First Street since 2002, in the historic riverfront stretch of downtown Snohomish, and it is exactly what the name promises rather than a cafe that happens to serve tea. The shop carries over three hundred loose leaf teas and herbals, wall to wall in labeled jars, and describes itself as a family run, locally owned business sourcing sustainably and ethically from around the world.

The stock is the reason to come and the range is the point: black, green, white, oolong, rooibos and herbal blends, alongside the equipment to actually brew them properly. Teapots, infusers, cups and mugs fill the rest of the room, there is local honey on the shelf, and the shop runs tea classes for anyone who wants to be told what they are doing rather than guess. Staff will walk you along the wall and open jars, which is the only sensible way to buy loose leaf.

It opens 10 AM to 6 PM every day of the week, which is unusually consistent for a small independent and makes it easy to fit in. It sits in the walkable First Street run, so it pairs with the antique shops either side and the Snohomish riverfront a block behind.
