DOSALAS sits on the second floor of the Vancouver Waterfront with the Pearl Deck hanging over the Columbia, and it is the restaurant most people picture when they think of dinner on the water here. The kitchen cooks from across Latin America, Peru, Cuba, Spain, Argentina, Mexico, Portugal, Venezuela and Brazil, and folds in the Northwest where it fits: salmon, Dungeness crab, little necks.
The service style is the point. Plates come out as they are ready, curated to the table rather than in courses, and the staff are trained as guides rather than order takers, so telling them what you like gets you a meal built around it. The bar works the same way, with cocktails matched to dishes and a deep tequila and mezcal list behind them. OpenTable named it the most booked restaurant in the Portland area in 2023.
Open daily from noon on weekdays and from ten on weekends, with happy hour Monday through Friday from three to six and again from nine until close. Reservations are the norm, especially for the deck.
