Avenue Bread

Avenue Bread started on Railroad Avenue in 1995 and grew the way a bakery should, one neighborhood at a time: Railroad, Fairhaven, James Street, and Lynden, each cafe shaped by its block. The breads and pastries arrive daily from sister company Avenue Bakery, and the Eggenue breakfast sandwich has a fan club of its own.

It is the rare local group that still feels like the corner spot in every location, which is exactly the point.
