Buddy’s Chicken & Waffles

Buddy's does one thing and does it all the way: crispy hand breaded chicken over waffles made when you order, in combinations that range from buttermilk classic to Oreo and strawberry shortcake. Everything is halal, so more of Tacoma gets a seat at the table.

The room is pure local, with art from Tacoma makers on the walls and hand written signs that read like the owner talking to you. A food truck carries the menu across the city, but the South G Street shop is the original.
