LeMay Family Collection at Marymount
The LeMay Family Collection at Marymount preserves the heart of Harold and Nancy LeMay’s private car collection on the grounds of a former military academy south of Tacoma. Harold LeMay once held the record for the world’s largest privately owned car collection, and this Marymount site keeps hundreds of those vehicles alongside vintage memorabilia, a general store display, and other family curiosities. It is a separate destination from LeMay America’s Car Museum in downtown Tacoma, and together the two tell the full story of one of the country’s great collecting families. The site is best known for its guided tours, which wind through barns and buildings packed with automotive history.
