About

The Bean Stop opened on East Maple Street in 2008 and added the Birchwood stand in 2010. Liz was hired to work this window in 2015 and bought the company with her husband David in 2024, which is a rarer arc than the drive through format suggests. The espresso comes from organic Peruvian green beans roasted in small batches in Skagit County. Beyond coffee there is a Lotus energy program with more than eighty syrup flavors, plus bagel and breakfast sandwiches. The walk up window welcomes dogs and the staff hand out treats.
