About

Micah Jones bought Cafe Blue in July 2023 at the age of 23, having worked behind its counter first, and Cascadia Daily News profiled the shop again in August 2026. It is Black and Yapese and queer owned, and small enough that the details register: greenery on every window ledge, art on the walls, and serving plates hand thrown and painted by Lily Lovell, who owned the place before. Pastries are baked here daily on a rotating list, and the house blend was made in collaboration with Steed Coffee. There is free wifi, a few outlets and a few tables outside.
