Paul Sawtell: A Musical Career Playing for a President, and Winning a Spellemann Award

In this episode we chat with Spellemann Award winning Saxophone player Paul Sawtell.

Paul has been playing Sax for over 30 years touring the world and performing in front of sold out audiences wherever he plays.

After a sports injury derailed his athletic scholarship Paul turned to music full time. From playing organ in the church band to performing for President Clinton Paul has seen and done it all.

Perhaps the most interesting thing is how Paul won a Spellemann award for arranging the horns on a Danish blues band album that was being recorded in Seattle. Make sure you tune in to hear that story.

This was a fun conversation and if you enjoy music you will enjoy hearing Paul as he shares stories from his career.
