Makah Cultural And Research Center

The Makah Cultural and Research Center in Neah Bay holds one of the great archaeological treasures of the Pacific Northwest. When storms uncovered the ancient Makah village at Ozette, hundreds of years of artifacts were found remarkably preserved in mud, and many are now displayed here by the Makah Tribe. Full size replica canoes, a longhouse, and everyday objects bring the pre European Makah world to life at the far northwest tip of Washington.
