Downtown Kirkland's Central Way is competitive coffee territory, and Zoka holds its own on credentials: National Barista Championships in 2002 and 2005 and Roast Magazine's Macro Roaster of the Year in 2008. The location opened in 2009 and fits the neighborhood well, with weekday hours starting at 6am and weekend hours at 7am, closing at 5 or 6pm depending on the day.
