Treasures and Teas

Tea Shop Edmonds, WA

The shop opened on Fifth Avenue in 2001 as Abby's Lighthouse and Tea by the Sea, took its current name when it changed hands in 2011, and changed hands again on New Year's Eve of 2023, when Aaron and Bree Martzke of Edmonds bought it as their first business. They had the doors open again that January.

The tea wall is the reason to come. More than two hundred loose leaf varieties sit alongside bagged and remedy blends, drawn from MarketSpice, Golden Moon, Harney and Sons, Yorkshire and Davidson's. Northwest Breakfast and the cinnamon orange signature, a blend that began life at Pike Place Market, are the two that move. Knock Out is the one to take home if you are not sleeping.

The rest of the shop leans nautical and local: jewelry, lamps, cribbage boards and Washington keepsakes, with a growing shelf of work by artists nearby.
