South Fork

South Fork

Restaurant North Bend, WA

South Fork is a cafe, bar and event space at 14303 436th Avenue SE, about two miles from downtown North Bend near exit 32 and close to Rattlesnake Lake. It opened in fall 2022 as the home base for Luke Talbott's Compass Outdoor Adventures, with Karin Ayling and Johnny Blair as partners, and chef Alex Paguaga left six years as executive chef at the North Bend Bar and Grill to run the kitchen.

It works as three places in one. Mornings are espresso and brunch, served until noon on weekdays and 1 on weekends. Afternoons and evenings bring a menu built around things like the trailhead burrito, brisket and a tofu banh mi, plus beers from Fort George and Dru Bru, wines from Pearl and Stone and DeLille, and a full cocktail bar. The beer garden out back has heaters, lights and a play space for kids, and dogs are welcome outside or in the tent.

Closed Tuesdays. Thursday is live music night, and the monthly Supper Club is a five course family style dinner that has run since October 2022.
