Old School Pizzeria

Old School has been making New York style pizza on Franklin Street in downtown Olympia since 1995, sold as whole pies in twelve, fourteen and eighteen inch, or by the slice for anyone passing.

The specialty list is worth reading properly. The Jörf piles on minced pepperoni, sausage, canadian bacon and andouille. The Al Green skips sauce for ricotta and broccoli and appears on Wednesdays only. The Princess runs spinach, feta and sun dried tomato, the Don Ho is the hawaiian, and the Tree Hugger takes four vegetables of your choosing. There is a vegan pie built on pomodoro, roasted eggplant, basil, cashews and red onion, and a gluten free fourteen inch that is also sold by the slice. Garlic knots come by the half or whole dozen.

In 2012 and again in 2013 the shop opened on Christmas Day to hand out free slices to anyone who needed one, several hundred at a time.
