Ohh…macarons

Ohh...macarons began in 2021 with a baker named Tanantha, whose Thai nickname is Ohh. She started in a shared commissary kitchen in Woodinville, built a following at pop up markets, and in 2024 opened a storefront on Main Street in downtown Bothell.

Macarons are the whole show, and they are playful ones: character and themed shells sit beside a black sesame flavor that has been the bestseller, Vietnamese coffee, mango sticky rice and Black Forest cake. The lineup rotates every week, with six or seven new flavors joining the case. There are macaron ice cream sandwiches made with Snoqualmie Ice Cream, nitro cold brew and nitro teas, tea lattes, and paninis for something savory.

The shop doubles as a place to learn. Macaron classes run for parents and kids, date nights and private parties, there is a party room to rent, and part of the floor is given over to local artisans. Hours have shifted since the storefront opened, so check before you go. It sits a short walk from the rest of Bothell's Main Street, with Hillcrest Bakery just across the way.
