HoneyHour opened just before Christmas in 2025, and its owner says the idea arrived the moment she saw the space. Her husband did the renovation himself, every surface of it. What they made is a small provisions market that behaves like a front room: checkerboard floors, soft pink walls, vintage cabinets, wood shelving and a fireplace corner with somewhere to sit.

The shelves run to local produce, artisan cheese, soups and pastries, salami and crackers, pantry staples, local dairy and a fridge of craft drinks, alongside honey, dried flowers, kitchen bits and work by local artists. It is a place to buy dinner and a place to buy a present, in roughly equal measure.

The owner has said she wanted it to feel like stepping inside a memory, drawing on old European provision shops and her grandmother's pantry. Intentionally imperfect, as she puts it, like somewhere that has always been here.
