Details is the Front Street shop for interesting objects rather than obvious gifts, and the house style is vintage: time worn found pieces, old architectural salvage, garden things, arranged so the room reads more like a collection than a shelf plan. Wendy runs it. There is a sister shop on Bainbridge Island, on Winslow Way.

The stock is home decor first, with quality baskets, cookbooks, puzzles, cards and the sort of gift you buy because you saw it rather than because you needed it. Two resident dogs, Astro and Panda, are usually on the floor, which tells you most of what you need to know about the service. A Love Kitsap local guide in 2024 singled the shop out at Christmas, calling it "pure magic," and December is genuinely when it is at its best, with the windows lit and the whole front of the store turned over to it.

Open daily 10 AM to 5:30 PM. It is in the historic downtown run, a few doors from the waterfront end, so it fits into any walk along Front Street without a detour.
