Corie's Cafe opened on November 22, 2024, on Main Street in Duvall, in the building it shares with Duvall Market. Owner Corie Goodloe came to it after 25 years in higher education, including the University of Washington and UCLA, and the walls carry work by local Duvall artists.
The menu is classic cafe comfort food with Filipino and Pacific Island flavors worked in. Purple ube pancakes are the dish people talk about, and the Manila bowl stacks garlic rice, adobo chicken, cucumber salad and a fried egg. Lumpia, longanisa chicken sausage sliders and eggs Benedict round it out, with coffee and drinks from the bar.
There is a sunroom, and the patio was planned with dogs in mind. It is open from 7 in the morning to 2 in the afternoon every day except Wednesday, and larger groups should plan ahead. Duvall's Main Street makes a good slow morning on its own, and the Snoqualmie Valley Trail runs right through town.
