Arête Coffee Bar

Arête Coffee Bar

Coffee Shop North Bend, WA

Arête Coffee Bar is a coffee shop that lives inside two North Bend gear shops. The first opened in February 2022 inside Pro Ski and Mountain Service on West 2nd Street, and a second opened in January 2025 inside The Line Bike Experience on East North Bend Way. Meghan and David Schumacher run both, and they also own Freestone Collective in Snoqualmie.

The coffee is Lighthouse Roasters, the syrups are made in house, and there is a full breakfast and lunch menu plus beer and wine for the end of the day. The Nash, a breakfast sandwich on a bacon cheddar biscuit, takes its name from a trail at Alpental. Bring your own cup and you get 25 cents off; the shop counts every reusable cup and reports more than 54,500 disposable cups avoided so far.

The Pro Ski location opens at 6:30 in the morning six days a week. The Line location keeps shorter hours, closes Mondays and Tuesdays, and its backyard looks straight at Mount Si.
