Oaksridge Golf Course is a public track five minutes east of Elma on Monte Elma Road. The layout opened in 1964 on land once used for dairy pasture. Tall fir and alder now edge many fairways while Chehalis River valley breezes keep the air fresh. Sandy soil drains rain fast, so golfers find dry lies even during wet coastal winters.

Oaksridge plays across gentle ridges just north of the Chehalis River. Fairways are wide enough for driver yet trees and thirty bunkers punish shots that stray. Most greens sit on small plateaus and fall away on three sides, so a bump and run often works better than a high flop. At 5 600 yards the card looks short, but many par fours stretch close to four hundred yards from the back blocks. The front nine loops through open pasture while the back nine climbs a low ridge that gives long views toward Capitol Forest.

The club offers a grass driving range beside the first tee. Buckets cost three, five, or eight dollars. A practice green sits near the clubhouse and a separate chipping area includes a small bunker. PGA staff give private lessons by appointment.
The website lists soft drinks and packaged snacks inside the pro shop. No full grill is noted, so many players stop in Elma for a meal after the round.
Regular adult fee is thirty-five dollars for eighteen holes and twenty for nine. Seniors pay thirty and eighteen. Off-season rates drop to twenty for eighteen. Power carts rent for fifteen dollars per rider over eighteen holes. Tee times are taken by phone though walk-ups are welcome most days. The sandy base means carts rarely face restrictions even after heavy rain. Greens break toward the river valley more than they appear, so trust the low side.
Oaksridge delivers quick draining fairways, friendly prices, and a relaxed walk among tall firs. Travelers on Highway 12 will find an easy stop, and locals keep coming back for the year-round play.
