Get inspired and learn about secret botanical meanings as you create a Language of Flowers arrangement. Make a floral arrangement expressing the hidden meanings of flowers, herbs, and foliage. Teresa Rao of Belle Pétale teaches you how to share sentiments with either a hand-tied gift posy or a small centerpiece.

Materials provided but feel free to bring your own vase, if desired. Registration inclues a select number of flowers; if you would like to make a bigger arrangement addtional flowers are available for purchase from the Flower Bar.

This workshop is open to all experience levels. Ages 18+.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

TERESA RAO is an avid gardener and flower lover who in 2020 transitioned from a 16-year corporate training career to floristry with the launch of Belle Pétale. Her boutique floral design studio is located in Tacoma. Her floral arrangements are made to order and created with a custom palette of seasonal flowers sourced in the Pacific Northwest from local flower farms, to ensure the highest quality and unique variety. Belle Pétale incorporates in each design the elements that accentuate the French floral style: poetic, structure, shape, natural – with a polished presentation.
