Join us for our March MMM on March 3rd! We will be attending the SheJumps event called Get the Girls Out at Crystal together! Learn more:

Hello Shred-it Sisters!

Join us for our winter Monthly Mountain Meetup at Crystal Mountain! This month we will be all attending the SheJumps Get the Girls Out event at Crystal together. So… this means you actually have to register with them. The link is here:

It would be rad if you also filled this Eventbrite registration out too just so we can see how many of us are going and can meet up at the event and still ride together, so, if you’re up to it, please do this Eventbrite form too! See you there!

_______

We welcome all women (cis and trans), non-binary, genderqueer, agender, and other gender diverse participants (sorry gents, this event isn’t for you)! Before you attend, be sure to check your email the day before to make sure you have all of the pertinent information needed for parking and passes at Crystal as well as updated event info!

FYI these are NOT guided or teaching days and this registration DOES NOT include a lift ticket. You must purchase your own lift ticket ahead of time or find someone with a buddy pass. These are member-run meetups so each group will determine what trails they want to ride together. We will try to have beginner, intermediate, and/or advanced groups depending on attendees so be sure to RSVP and note your skill group preference using the descriptors below. If you would like to be a group leader (just the person who makes sure no one gets left behind, you don’t have to be the front runner or fastest person) please let us know, we always need more help!

To make registering for your skills group easier we have made a list of skills categories. Please use this guide during registration on Eventbrite!

Beginner: Greens (Please note if you are BRAND new as well)

Beginner-mediate: Greens and starting to get out on blues

Intermediate: Comfortable on blues

Intermediate-advanced: Comfortable on all blues and starting blacks

Advanced: Comfortable on blues and blacks, some double blacks

Expert+: Comfortable on anything

Additional Modifiers for pace and trail type preference

F: Fast

S: Slow

O: Off-piste

G: Groomers

We will plan to have everyone meet near the Gondola (specifics will be emailed to you) in the morning to introduce ourselves and break into groups. Make sure to arrive on time so you don’t get left behind! Groups can then discuss goals and desired runs before heading out. If you happen to have a buddy pass you are willing to share please post on our FB event page so shredders without a pass can link up with you! We do a lot of networking and planning there!

We strive to be an all inclusive group which includes making accommodations for our immune compromised shred friends! If anyone who is registering requests that masks be worn for their protection we will ALL come together and support each other in masking. We want to protect those of us who are immune compromised, have at-risk loved ones, etc. Please bring a medical or double layered mask (buffs do not work) to wear anytime you are within 6 ft of other people (lift lines and on the chairlift)in the event masks become necessary. We would also appreciate your assistance in reminding fellow SIS members to pull masks up when we get in line since we all forget sometimes! Once we are off the chairlift and able to space out you can pull your mask down. Do not attend if you have any symptoms or have been recently exposed to someone with COVID 19 or any other contagious illness.

By attending, you expressly assume all dangers of the activities, including injury, property damage, and death. By attending you agree to waive any and all claims against the Shred-It Sisters, Alicia Mau, Ashley Barnett, Chelsea Wilde, and any other meet-up planners/volunteers.
