Join us for our second gathering of all things Bordeaux! You don’t want to miss this.

Join us on November 14th for this incredible opportunity to taste a collection of highly regarded Bordeaux reds (many unavailable in retail), with Washington and California counterparts added in for comparison. We will taste through 6 – 2019 Bordeaux from places like Margaux, Saint-Julien and Pauillac, learning about the traditions in Bordeaux, hallmarks of the left bank as well as comparing them with our Washington Cabernet and a California example.

Eight wines will be tasted in total, all hailing from the truly special 2019 vintage. Rob Griffin, the longest tenured winemaker in Washington (and Bordeaux fan) will detail the history, tradition and production style in Bordeaux as we taste.

This is truly an experience that should not be missed for any who revere French wine, or who are eager to learn more.

The featured wine:

2019 Chateau Leoville Barton Saint-Julien 96-98 points; $110 retail
2019 Chateau Gloria Saint-Julien – 93-96 points; $50 retail
2019 Chateau Haut Batailley Pauillac – 93-95 points; $70 retail

Tickets are $85 for members, and $90 for non-members, and include samples of the 8 featured wines, lecture, printed materials (including expanded tasting notes and scoring rubrics) and palate cleansers.
