Urban Craft Uprising

In this episode we chat with Kristen Rask of Urban Craft Uprising.

Urban Craft Uprising started in Seattle in 2005. Kristen participated in the first event and has been on staff since 2008.

Originally Kristen owned a store in Seattle called Schmancy.  Schmancy was next door to Fancy....get it....Fancy Schmancy.  Clever indeed.

During our conversation we talk about the robust maker and creative community that calls Washington State and the Pacific Northwest home.

Urban Craft Uprising is a biannual show held in the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall. Now with over 150 vendors selling high quality, hand crafted and unique items. In 2021 the event will be held December 4th and 5th along with a preview night on December 3rd.
