Julie Ann Gustanski is my guest for this episode.  Julie is the Event Chair for the 2022 Cider Swig The Great Peninsula Festival

This is the 9th annual Cider Swig and this year it will be held at the LeMay Museum in Tacoma on September 24th. 2022. Cider makers from Washington State and the Pacific Northwest will be sharing their ciders and other beverages with you and the proceeds support environmental education, restoration, conservation and stewardship initiatives across our greater peninsula region.

Cider Swig 2022Julie is a co-founder of the Greater Gig Harbor Foundation.

The Greater Gig Harbor Foundation works collaboratively to build, bridge and enrich the greater Gig Harbor and Key Peninsula region by raising funding, advocating for and providing support to help meet diverse community needs in five core areas essential to sustaining vibrant healthy communities across our peninsulas.


For over 16 years the foundation has provided help in five core areas.

  • Education
  • Environment
  • Recreation
  • Social Capital
