Children’s Museum of Skagit County

Founded in 2000 by parents and community members, the Children’s Museum of Skagit County is a hub of educational activity. It offers a variety of hands-on exhibits and events tailored for children from birth to 12 years. The museum is committed to fostering interactive learning experiences, promoting creative and innovative growth among children and their families.

Since its establishment in 2003, the Children’s Museum of Skagit County has been a hub for interactive learning in science, technology, engineering, art, math, culture, and literature. The museum has expanded its reach and diversified its offerings, including the Museum Explorers Preschool program, due to growing attendance and membership.

Annually, the Children’s Museum of Skagit County accommodates approximately 70,000 visitors, with additional outreach through community partnerships. The museum targets a diverse demographic, including individuals from various socio-economic backgrounds, and offers scholarships and complimentary programs to those in need.

Single entry fee $8.75 per person.

Membership levels

CMSC Family Memberships offer year-round unlimited access, guest passes, exclusive discounts on parties, camps, classes, and a 10% store discount. Plus, get 25% off at NWAYM member museums for up to 4 people. Note: Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.

King Salmon: $135/year

  • Replaces Grandparent
  • Includes 2 families, you and your grandchildren
  • Free guest passes: 4 (single-use)
  • Add a relative family household: $45/family

Bear Cub: $165/year

  • Free guest passes: 8 (single-use)
  • Reciprocal benefits to 120 children’s museums nationwide & Canada 50% off admission for up to 6 people, including the cardholder. You must have your card with you, which has the ACM Reciprocal logo.
  • One free Member Night 

Eagle: $275/year

• Free guest passes: 16 (single-use)
• Unlimited reciprocal benefits to 100+ children’s museums nationwide and Canada through the Association of Children’s Museums Reciprocal Network.

Orca Membership: Lifetime membership for $5000
