The Marketplace 4738 Lynwood Center Rd NE, Bainbridge Island, WAMarvin Hoffert Jazz has been performing in Kitsap County since 2015, when Marvin Hoffert migrated West to Bainbridge Island and hooked up with Carson Farley and Gary Grout. We love the beautiful tunes that we grew up with – the Ballads and the Swing Tunes from The Great American Songbook, the lilting Bossa’s that swept out of Brazil, and the moving Clave’s that danced in from Cuba. We play these tunes with respect, but also add some features of more modern jazz – We call this straight ahead jazz with a contemporary flare.
