Wild Mushrooms of the Olympic Peninsula – Field Tour
Join us for our 3 hour wild mushroom identification walking tour through the Olympic National Forest! Learn about edible and non-edible mushrooms, foraging skills and how to make a spore print! Bring a harvesting basket or purchase one in our shop for some during or after class foraging! Guided by Herpetologist and Professional Forager, Jerry Novak. Offered October through early December.
Private tours may also be arranged for groups of 6 or more!
$79 per person
Meet up at our office and store at 306146 Hwy 101 N in Brinnon 5 to 25 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time. Our tour van will leave promptly at the event’s start time. Pups are welcome, children 6 and under are free with a paying adult. If you bring your pups, small children, or just choose to, you may follow us in your own vehicle.
