The Wenatchee AppleSox continue their 25th season at home with a three game series vs. The Nanaimo NightOwls. Come see tomorrows stars today. First pitch is at 6:35pm on. Friday and Saturday. Sundayโ€™s First pitch is at 5:35pm. Gates open an hour before first pitch.

Wenatchee AppleSox LogoThe Wenatchee AppleSox, established in 2000, is a collegiate summer baseball team based inย Wenatchee, Washington.

Competing in the West Coast Leagueโ€™s North Division, they play home games at Paul Thomas Sr. Field on the Wenatchee Valley College campus.

The AppleSox has a rich history, securing multiple league championships, including titles in 2005, 2006, 2009, 2010, and 2012. They are known for developing talent, with several alums advancing to professional baseball. The team fosters a family-friendly atmosphere, engaging the community through various events and promotions.

 

 

The nanaimo nightowls

Nanaimo NightOwls LogoThe Nanaimo NightOwls, established in 2020, are a collegiate summer baseball team based in Nanaimo, British Columbia. They compete in the West Coast League (WCL), a premier wood-bat league that showcases top collegiate talent from across North America. The NightOwls play their home games at historic Serauxmen Stadium, offering fans an intimate and engaging baseball experience.

The team’s name pays homage to the Nanaimo Owls baseball team of the 1920s, while the ‘Night’ in the name refers to the installation of floodlights at Serauxmen Stadium. The NightOwls also have a unique daytime persona, the “Nanaimo Bars,” named after the famous dessert, with games played during the day under this moniker.

Since their inaugural season in 2022, the NightOwls have been committed to player development and community engagement, providing affordable, family-friendly entertainment for baseball enthusiasts in the Nanaimo area. Their games feature a lively atmosphere with various promotions and events, making it a fun outing for fans of all ages
