Northwest favorite Marina Albero (piano, hammered dulcimer) is one of the most prolific jazz musicians in the area. In this occasion, she will be performing her original music that will take you on a journey around the globe. Accompanied by the tasteful bassist Trevor Ford, Albero will perform a selected repertoire on piano and hammered dulcimer that shows all of her life experiences. From Persia through the Mediterranean coast, early music and Latin rhythms are infused with jazz and classical sounds.

The concert will also feature the talented Serena on vocals who is Marina’s daughter and an accomplished singer and songwriter. A very special treat as she doesn’t live in the area and so it’s rare seeing mother and daughter on stage together.

This event is hosted by Susan Bardsley and Stephen Price who generously offered their gorgeous piano and home to share some magical moments of music and joy with a small group of folks. Enjoy with some wine, Marina’s signature tapa “Tortilla de patatas” and other home made goodies while you get to mingle with the artists and hosts.
