Trail Ambassador Volunteer Training – Winter #1

Join us to become a Trail Ambassador for Cowiche Canyon Conservancy trails and lands! This 90-minute training is a requirement for all future Trail Ambassadors.
What are Trail Ambassadors?
Trail Ambassadors are community volunteers that serve as friendly and informative points of contact with trail users to support safe and responsible use of trails.
Why Trail Ambassadors?
W e believe that Trail Ambassadors help to encourage a culture of kindness and stewardship that make our trails and lands safer and healthier places for our community.

The Training
*This 90-minute training is in person (at Cowiche Canyon Conservancy’s office).
The training will cover:
- Context – overview of CCC lands and programs (10 min)
- Details of Trail Ambassador program and expectations (15 min)
- Strategies for engaging communications (20 min)
- Logging hours (5 min)
- Live acting to practice realistic scenarios (20 min)
- Time for questions, feedback, and conversation (10 min)
- Gear hand-out! (5 min)
