The Parents of Ballet Arts Academy, with the artistic direction of Mimi Ewers and the students of Ballet Arts Academy, present three performances of The Nutcracker Suite.

You are invited to the Stahlbaum’s Christmas party to watch Clara and her friends delight in a magical Christmas evening. Clara’s quirky uncle brings the children presents and she receives a beloved Nutcracker doll.

When Clara falls asleep, she dreams of various lands. She is tormented by mice, dazzled with a beautiful snowstorm, mesmerized with the Snow Queen, and enchanted as she watches the Sugar Plum fairy dance a beautiful Pas de Deux with her Cavalier.

Come support your favorite student dancers, “ooh” and “aah” at the beautiful costumes and share this holiday classic with your loved ones.

Special guest artists performing the Sugar Plum Pas de Deux: Abby Jayne DeAngelo and Guillame Basso, former PNB professional dancers.

We also offer a Sugar Plum Experience where young children will meet our ballerinas, take photos with them beside decorated trees, receive signed autographs and a delicious treat. This VIP experience takes place one hour before the performance and is purchased as an add-on to your reserved seat.

Please note: performance are all at Spokane Community College’s Lair Auditorium, which is building #6. Park in lot P1 and enter on Mission Street.
