The police blotter for Walla Walla in 1906 reads like a movie script about the Saloon men vs. the temperance movement. Councilman Glasford had it in for the French, they said, and Davin and Michellod, proprietors of the Louvre hotel, were his number one target. Join us to hear Sarah Hurlburt and Susan Monahan dish the dirt — er, dig up some history.
The event will include a silent auction of relevant historical memorabilia to raise money for the Frenchtown historical Foundation.
