Stalking and Harassment Prevention: A Rural Community Approach

January 23 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

This free 90 minute workshop will educate and inform the community so that we can lead the way for positive change.

A Workshop on protecting your staff, customers, and business.

By way of a citizen, law enforcement, and mayoral partnership, Winthrop passed comprehensive stalking prevention legislation and deemed January as “Stalking Awareness Month”––officially recognizing stalking as a public health epidemic and following the lead of bipartisan legislation passed unanimously by the Washington State Legislature.

This free two-hour workshop will educate and inform the community so that we can lead the way for positive change. This workshop is open to business owners, staff and civil leaders from across Washington State. Hosted by the Winthrop Chamber of Commerce and Twispworks. Led by Raven Buckingham Aäe and Marshal Ty Sheehan

(Businesses that participate will have the opportunity to be showcased in a newsletter and Articles about the Winthrop’s positive steps on the subject.)
