Studio Bob presents a Shula Azhar production of Shimmering Sands Belly Dance Show featuring Raks Halifa and Beledi Blossoms. These three groups will perform dances of the Middle East including, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Lebanon. Grab your friends and enjoy a trip to a beautiful oasis without even leaving downtown Port Angeles!
Shula Azhar is the only professional belly dance company on the Olympic Peninsula. With their members combined experience over 100 years, you are always sure to get an amazing performance with this dynamic award-winning group.
Rak Halifa is an understudy performance group who is learning about the music, culture and dances of different countries throughout the Middle East. It is the goal of these dancers to rise through the ranks and eventually join Shula Azhar.
Beledi Blossoms is a group of students from an all-levels class in Sequim. These ladies are showing off their new skills after learning a full choreography over the past 6-weeks.
Please join us for this free unique all ages performance. Food and drinks area available for purchase. Seating opens at 6:30pm.
