Seabrook Beachside Author Series: Dan Gemeinhart

#1 NYT Bestselling author of The Remarkable Journey of Coyote Sunrise, Midnight Children, The Honest Truth, as well as several other novels and picture books for young readers. A former teacher-librarian, Dan lives in a small town in north-central Washington with his wife and three daughters. Born in Frankfurt, Germany, Dan went to a different school almost every year because his dad was in the Army. After high school and college in Washington State, he wrote for TEN YEARS before finally getting his first book published – Dan didn’t believe in giving up and doesn’t think that we should, either.
Join Dan and us for a keynote message from his books about not giving up, believing in yourself, and following your dreams. Keynote will be followed by a Q&A plus a Mini Workshop where he’ll guide you through brainstorming and building your own characters, with time for writing exercises.

This session is best suited for ages 10+, but it’s open to all ages. Parents and guardians are welcome to come and participate.
