NATURE LOVERS TRIVIA

Ring in the season of love with your friends, nature themed trivia and an evening of delicious seasonal food and refreshment at IslandWood. Intimacy in the natural world boasts a wild and memorable array of reproductive techniques and strategies, so we’ve designed a Valentine’s Day weekend game to celebrate how life…”finds a way.”
We’ve partnered up with our fave local trivia lead, Trivia Time Live, to bring you a game night in our Great Hall. Our quizmasters have designed a game filled with questions about love in nature and for those who love nature, all with good clean(-ish!) fun.
Not nature inclined, but still love trivia/game nights? No worries – we’ll have pop culture, music and sports questions as well, to create a nice balance for the game to have universal appeal.
THE GAME:
New to trivia? Been playing for years on and off? We got you. The game is hosted by the trivia pros at Trivia Time Live & (self-described) hilariously-fun IslandWood naturalists, Christina & Shoopie! All you need to do is show up and play. The game has four rounds, each round has a set of questions, and your team is given time to come up with THE answer to each quesion, all with musical interludes. Trivia hosts keep track of your points awarded for each question. It’s lively and intellectually-rousing! The rounds get harder as you go, as you try and nudge out your competition.
TEAMS:
You can be in teams of two to ten – and if you don’t have a ready-made team of pals, we’ll introduce you to other singles and duos looking for a team when you arrive. Tell us your team name and away you go! The game has an intermission around 7:15 PM, where you can grab more food, head to our bar, and mingle, and then we end promptly at 8:30 PM. Prizes will be awarded! There’s music, great company, food and drink and you’ll absolutely learn something new about lovers in nature along the way.

YOUR TICKET INCLUDES:
Our talented culinary team is preparing a delicous, pub-inspired selection of upscale bar food items, all seasonally-inspired! Your ticket price includes food, an aphrodisiac, hand-crafted mocktail, and of course – game entry! We’ll have a no-host bar as well, where we’ll be selling wine, beer, and specialty sodas and fruit juices.
We have prizes for First, Second, and Third Place too for extra fun and fanfare.
