Jazznights

Now in our 25th year, the nonprofit Wenatchee Jazz Workshop brings world-class jazz to the valley for a week, culminating in “Jazznights.”
Six professional musicians from L.A. and New York spend the week teaching and mentoring high school and middle school jazz band students from Eastmont and Wenatchee school districts.
Thursday the pros perform as the LA6 sextet, at Orchard Middle School; there’s no admission charge.
Friday’s concert at Wenatchee High School features the students, with the pros sitting in; tickets are $15.
Both concerts begin at 7 p.m. The Workshop is an affiliate of the Wenatchee Valley Museum and Cultural Center.
